Bunny and the Bull is a road movie set entirely in a flat. Stephen Turnbull hasn’t left the house in months. When an infestation of mice wreaks havoc on his precious routine, he finds his mind going back to a disastrous trek round Europe he undertook the previous year with his alter-ego Bunny. Stephen reconstructs the journey using objects found around his flat. The original road trip began when Stephen attempts to declare his feelings in a restaurant. He is devastated to discover that the love of his life has put him firmly in “the friend zone”. Bunny proposes that they go on holiday. At the local bookmaker, Stephen breaks the habit of a lifetime and takes a risk, putting fifty pounds on a rank outsider. He spends the winnings on a road trip, where he stumbles upon another alter-ego; the demented dog-loving tramp, an alcoholic ex-matador, a dull tour-guide and superstitious waitress Eloisa, with whom Stephen starts a relationship using both sides of his personality.
